In order to transport Uber customers in Poland using your own car or a rented vehicle, the vehicle must meet the following requirements:

• have a left-hand drive,
• the year of production must not be older than 2004 (in Warsaw, 2005),
• be 5-door and 5-seater,
• have a valid technical inspection and valid third-party liability insurance,
• have a TAXI sign on the roof,
• have a TAXI stamp in the registration certificate,
• be registered in Poland.

Downloading and using the Uber app on your phone is free on all devices with Apple iOS and Google Android operating systems. However, it doesn’t function in the same way as a traditional taxi meter and fiscal cash register – it anticipates the distance, calculates the fare, and estimates the duration of the journey in advance, even before the start of the trip. The payment for the ride is deducted from the passenger’s account, and once the trip is completed, it is visible in the driver’s panel. The Uber app also features integrated navigation, allowing you to have control over the route it suggests and easily reach the destination specified by the customer.

As a passenger transporter, you will smoothly operate the app. You will create a driver profile and enter the necessary details, enabling you to start working, accept orders, and settle rides. The driver’s panel contains information about orders – those accepted, canceled, and rejected. You can see the time and cost of each trip. Additionally, the panel displays driver statistics and reviews provided by customers about you and the trips with you.
